Destruindo a Mentira

Estou postando letras/traduções de bandas de metal cristão, para que os leigos parem de tanto preconceito... ou não. Veja essa do Virgin Black:

Anthem
By Virgin Black

You shared flesh with me
danced with me in the ancient circle
of birth life and death
but You live again

While autumn leaves fall
in the summer of my life
it is the millstone
around the neck of us all
but You wore it like a crown
weaving to the shrill
that makes cowards of us all
but to You it was harmony

You knew shame like no other
You tasted death like no other
You shed tears like no other man
You shared flesh with me
Danced with me

This incarnation repelled me
but threw me to my knees
could I be anything
but a moth to the flame ?
Your cross compels me
You are the breath that gives me life
You are mystery
You are beauty
You are the risen Christ

Hino (tradução) The Virgin Black
Você compartilhou a carne comigo
Dançou comigo no círculo ancestral
De nascimento vida e morte
Porém você vive novamente

Enquanto o outono deixa a si mesmo
No verão de minha vida
Esta é a pedra de moinho
Em volta do pescoço de todos nós
Porém você usou-a como uma coroa
Entrelaçando-a ao protesto
Que faz a todos nós covardes

Entretanto para você era harmonia

Você conheceu a vergonha como nenhum outro
Você provou a morte como nenhum outro
Você derramou lágrimas como nenhum outro homem

Esta encarnação me repugnou
Mas me fez cair de joelhos
Poderia eu ser algo
Além de uma mariposa atraída ao fogo?

Sua cruz me compele
Você é o respirar que me dá a vida
Você é mistério
Você é beleza
Você é o Cristo ressurreto
